This week I was on dishes! Yay! This means that I have to clean up the dishes four times a day, for one week. The yay bit is because on Friday, the staff have a big morning tea, and we can eat any leftovers.
We also went to the museum, and learnt more about the treaty of Waitangi. We learnt what really happened, and we got to dress up and play the roles of the people who made the treaty of waitangi happen, and what the arguments were about.
This week in Tech Arts, we have continued our speakers, and on Friday, we started making phone holders, mine is a see-through orange, and I have ruled it up, now I need to cut it out and bend it into shape.

Week 3 Term 1
This week we did testing, testing, testing and more testing. PAT, Reading Comprehension, and Grammar.
We have also been working hard on Tech Arts. I'm not sure how the Year Seven's are doing with their Tech, but the Year Eight's are making speakers! (That plug into your phone and really work!) We are up to making the sides, top and bottom of the speaker, and gluing and nailing them together. Next week we will be sanding them.
This week was the Year Eight's first week of Japanese, and it was really fun! We made Pikachu origami, and they look really cute! Next week we will be working with food, so I am excited!
I can't wait to start French this term!
